The Process for Commissioned Portraits

I work from life and from photographs. The ideal scenario is to meet in person for a photo session followed by at least two brief sittings. If you or the subject live outside of the area, or are unable to be present, I can guide you in the quantity and type of photographs most helpful to the process.

I sculpt in clay.
One of a kind pieces can be kiln fired or cast.
I also contract with a local foundary for bronze casting (from which a numbered series can be produced).

Each piece is custom designed in collaboration with you as to materials, finish, and mounting which will determine the cost of the final piece.
